LMP E04: From Fodonga to Mami Chula
Have you ever been stuck in Fodonga mode? A fodonga is someone who looks very low maintenance, low effort, messy hair, messy style, like they just rolled out of bed. Life stressors like stepmotherhood, a heavy workload, unprocessed emotions, mental health issues, and several other factors may contribute to fodonga-ness, but how do we break free? In this episode of La Madrastra, we will discuss exactly that!
We explore the reasons that may cause us to fall back on how we show up in the world. We will briefly discuss Depression, the symptoms and what they look like. And we will review 9 easy steps that may lead us to live a more vibrant life. These steps are not limited to looks and how we clean up, but about how we feel about ourselves, our inner dialogue and how we prioritize our wellbeing.
